Moon Temple – Inkilltambo
Best half day trek for hiking in the southern area of Cusco city, to see the archeological sites of Choqekiraw Puqio and Inkilltambo, following a farmers trail which also connects with other interesting places in the Archeological Park of Sacsayhuaman.
This half-day walk will take us around the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, to the valley of the Kallachaqa River in the micro-basin of the Cachimayo River; east of the city of Cusco. The archaeological sites that we will visit will show us a little more of the mastery developed by the Incas in their adaptation and management of the environment to be used, not only as production sites, but also as places of worship for their divinities and understanding of the universe.

Day 1: Cusco – Kallachaqa – Huayraq Punku
Pick up from your hotel, we will depart towards the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, Qenko sector, near the Temple of the Moon area.
