In this trek you will feel the magic of the Andes and trek magnificence of the Inca history
 

We shall start in the Qamicancha community at the Silke riverbank which is a tributary of the Urubamba Sacred river. Here, we shall meet our mule handler and horses. They will be in charge of  the excursion logistics in the mountains.
The flora, fauna, geography and nature will surprise us for its diversity and beauty giring our spirit to its peculiar characteristic. The Inca history will be present at each step of our trek. 
Archaeological sites strategically located in the geography of the place will allow us to understand better the Andean civilization and of course to be in touch with its Gods
 

Your adventure step by step

Day 1: Cuzco – Qamicancha - Ancasqocha

We will depart from Cusco towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Qamicancha community where we will find our field staff and will start our adventure. We shall pass the last agricultural fields on our way to the  highlands. We shall traverse the different ecological levels where we will see the diverse flora and fauna, orchids, bromeliads and native tres as well as some bird species.
We will arrive at the Puna ecological floor where our camping site is located facing the Anqascocha lagoon, we will have dinner and spend the night there

  • Distance Travelled: 13 Km / 8 miles 
  • Approximate Walking Time: 7 Hrs

Day 2: Ancasqocha - Paucarqancha

After a good night sleep and a nutritious breakfast, we will leave the camping site to trek to the high point of our adventure 4650 above sea level / 15255 feet is our treking goal. 
After the mountain pass we go down to the Qesqa river valley, there we will enjoy the scenery topped by the mountain glacier and have our delicious  lunch. 
After a brief rest we will continue down toward to the Paucarcancha archeological site. After our visit we will go to our campsite to have dinner and have a restful night

Day 3: Paucarqancha - Huayllabamba - Piscacucho - Km 82 

This is the final day of our trek, we shall connect with the traditional Inca Trail from Huayllabamba archaeological site passing Tunasmocco and Miskay. Here we will have our box lunch until we get Piscacucho sector, this is the last point of our trek and the beginning of the traditional Inca Trail
